About this event
ALL LEVELS - Non-Heated Korsi Yin (Deep Stretch) is a practice of balance—an invitation to counter the pace and intensity of modern life and more active “yang” styles of movement. Life requires balance, and yoga does too. When we find ourselves immersed in strength, heat, and repetition, it can be essential to return to stillness, softness, and surrender. In Korsi Yin Yoga, students are guided through gentle, long-held postures that target the deeper connective tissues of the body—the tendons, ligaments, fascia, and joints. Rather than engaging muscular effort, this practice relies on gravity, props, and time to gradually open the body and create space within its physical, emotional, and subtle energetic layers. This is a slow, introspective practice designed to cultivate awareness, patience, and deep release. As the body softens, the mind is invited to settle, creating access to stillness and restoration that is often difficult to find in more dynamic forms of movement. The room is not heated, allowing the body to cool and fully drop into the yin experience. Dress warmly and prepare to slow down, listen inward, and explore the quiet intelligence of the body.
