Parent Loss Support Circle

About this event

Our Parent Loss Support Circle at the Atlanta Grief House welcomes all people who have experienced the death of a parent or primary caregiver. This group offers space to give and receive support, to be in community with others who have also had a parent die. You and your grief are welcome here, however complicated, confusing, simple, fresh, old, etc your grief may be.

The circle will often be open-ended, but structured practices may be offered depending on the desires of the group.

Please note that this event may be attended by those experiencing various forms of parental loss. This may include the loss of a step-parent or parental figure, and those whose parents are actively dying, living with a degenerative disease, or estranged.

Led by Kelly

Kelly Sklare (she/her), a midwife, meditator, teenage girl-mom, grief-tender, adventurer and avid practitioner of joyful silliness & frivolity. From Kelly "The Grief House has been a magical, healing haven for me during my own grief journey after losing both of my parents. My heart is so full of gratitude and a radiant desire to share the gift of Grief House with others.
